The Contemporary Sculptors Association Inc. was founded in 1997 as a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting contemporary sculpture, and to extending and developing the role it plays in the Australian community.

Funded principally by it's membership, the CSA's operations are wide-ranging. These include the Yarra Sculpture Gallery, the Fundere Sculpture Prize, Passage (our annual curated exhibition in the St. Kilda Botanical Gardens) and the End-of-Year Prizes Show for members. We publish a regular newsletter, host forums and special events, and also provide regular news, opportunities and information to our members. Artists, students, friends and professional organisations are all invited to join. Members enjoy benefits while helping to support the cause of contemporary sculpture

The Association's overall aim is to work with individual artists, government and professional organisations, the commercial sector and the community to expand public awareness of contemporary sculpture and to stimulate the growth of sculpture as a professional practise.

The CSA is run by a volunteer Committee of Management.
